In collaboration with the Dept. of Computer Science of UFSCar, is in development a parallel machine for processing, visualization and analysis of tomographic images of solar atmosphere, in real time. The technique of spectral tomography by pattern recognition, will be used for radio and X-ray solar images to characterize large scale solar phenomena with application to space weather forecast.
